A sentence connector links the contents of two sentences.

John went to school as usual. However, the school was closed so he came home.

"However" is connecting the sentences. Other connectors include therefore, this, moreover, besides, consequently.

A conjunction connects two parts of equal importance within a sentence:

John went to school and found it closed.

"and" is the conjunction linking the two parts together.

Thank you.
Do you mean?
If I use the connector, I have to write two sentences and if conjunction,I have to write one sentence.
John didn't study ;therefore he failed in the exam.
John didn't study. Therefore he failed in the exam.
The first therefore is conjunction and the second one is connector.
Am I right?
