what is the meaning of the sensenses leading by "but"?
2. The apples have different sizes, with Delicious apples being among the largest?

Hi Weiqun,

(1) 'but a very few make up the majority of those grown for sale' means that of all the varieties of apples, a very small percentage of varieties compose a large percentage of total apple sales.

(2) Not exactly; 'with Delicious apples being among the largest' means that this variety is one of several largest-sized apple varieties.

1- Four types of apple dominate the market in the UK, though we have hundreds of varieties. ;-)
