What is the mean of "I can do with my newspaper"?

Someone told me the meaning of "I can do with my newspaper" is "I can survive with my newspaper."
Is it correct? If not then what does it mean actually?

"Thanks a lot" but one more question;If It is correct then which grammar rule has been used in above statement to make sense of survive?I mean phrasel verb? An idiom? Or what?Could you please explain it well? Thanks

I can do without a newspaper sounds natural to me. I can do with a newspaper does not.

I agree. For the positive statement, I would use/accept "I can make do with a newspaper".

"To do without something" is a common phrase. "To do with something" isn't.
