if a woman had two children,one in 1990 and the other in 1993, how do we say this? I want to mention the three-year span.

if she had them in 1990 and 1991, can we say "she had two children in consequtive years"?

She had two children in two years. [I don't think interval fits here; maybe "she had two kids in an interval of just two years" but why?]

"She had two boys within two years, 1990 to 1992."

Yes, if you changed it to three years, or used a 2-yr span (1990-1992 is 3 yrs)
