I want to put an emphasis on brain. I don't know which part of as well as is more emphatic, before or after it.

What we eat and or drink can affect every other part of our body as well as our brian.

What we eat and or drink can affect our brain as well as every other part of our body.

The second is best — especially as you spelt brain right.

If you want to combine "and" and "or", write and/or.

Can we use such format in an academic context?
Once in a long while, "and/or" is the best word for a situation. It's almost always possible to rephrase the sentence to avoid this clumsy construction.
