What's "exam commitments" ?

It seems to me that "exam commitments" is normally used by students, who use it to refer to the time they have to spend or the efforts they have to make to prepare for their coming exams. Am I right?

Your explanation makes sense to me. However, as to whether it is a phrase normally used by students, that is something I wouldn't know.

I'd say it is- maybe it's a BE thing, but we talk about being committed to an exam or a course, meaning fulfilling the requirements. ;-)
