The more predictable alphabet.com is already being used by Alphabet International, a mobility services company helping large corporations manage employee transportation. Alphabet International is a member of the BMW Group.

As above-mentioned that i don't
understand is why the word "being" is using here?
What's the being mean here?(be = is, are, was, were)
According to my knowledge from high school that I think "is already used" here is correct.
Can someone correct me ?

No. Is = present tense; used = past tense. "Is used" is a passive voice, for example, 'Soap is used to wash the hands.'
The phrase "is already used" sounds like something has been consumed, for example, a napkin.

"As above-mentioned"
I always saw my business e-mail using that phrase. What's wrong?

My staff is always using that phrase too.
