I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct. Is it correct to use "to get him through" in my sentence?
When Bernie came out of prison, he learnt one bad and one good news. The first one was he lost his job, and the second one was that someone paid off his debts and put on his bank account enough money to get him through the coming months.
