I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct.

When the customs officers opened a car boot, they made a bizarre discovery -- a hundred pairs of trousers with only one leg each. The driver told them he was only transporting them from one address to another and was unable to give them any other explanation.

I wouldn't use "pair" in that unusual context. ;-)

"A hundred trousers" would be wrong in American English. Trousers (or more usually "pants", which are something rather different in British English) come in pairs.
