I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct.

When the supervisor walked into the workshop, a deadly silence fell over the workers. They were bracing themselves for one of his fits of rage he was frequently prone to have.

Either one of his fits of rage or one of the fits of rage he was prone to is possible. You can't use his and the fits of rage together.

GoesStation,

You have written "either one of his fits of rage or one of the fits..."
But I have written "one of his fits of rage" in my sentence.
You've probably wanted to write "either one of fits of rage"?

No, that would be ungrammatical. Here are the two possibilities I had in mind:
When the supervisor walked into the workshop, a deadly silence fell over the workers. They were bracing themselves for one of his fits of rage.
