Is this sentence grammatically correct?
"The fight happened at around 8 pm on Wednesday, where homes sell for upwards of £6 million."

It's a very strange sentence. Where did you see it?

The link (which you should have given in post #1) makes it clear that 'where' refers to Mayfair — an affluent district of London.

It is odd, but the context has already made it clear which area. I would have put the part about prices with the name of the area. I think it might be sloppy writing.

It's probably an editing error. Either the reporter or an editor combined parts of two sentences and lost an antecedent.
