Yep. Definitely sounds non-native. Your examples are much better. Or "looking forward to working with you". Even "looking forward to cooperating with you" is a bit weird. I'm not sure why though.

Oh, sorry. The sentences I gave were to illustrate the use of 'looking forward to', not to be taken as any attempt at rephrasing the original sentence.
It seems odd to me, that one can 'hope' for the usual cooperation, but 'looking forward to' strikes me as odd.
For some reason, 'Trusting we can look forward to your usual cooperation' sounds better to me. It has more the sense of a polite request, whereas the original smacks of (=has the flavour of) 'we take it for granted that you will of course cooperate'.
