Hi dear experts, Could you please tell which of the two sentences sounds better in English, if any:

1. Send me the documents by e-mail so I can pass them on to the boss.

2. Send me the documents via e-mail so that I can pass them over to the boss.

2. Send me the documents via e-mail so that I can pass them over to the boss.

Number 1 is correct. The sentences are 'tricky' because 'by' and 'via' are synonymous. Once you get past the synonyms, ...'so I can pass them on to the boss' is the correct response.
