Hi to all,
I have difficulties creating a proper sentence with using phrasal verb. Help me please.
Which one is correct?
------------
"I will let the nurse that looked after me know"

or:

I will let know the nurse that looked after me.
-----------

The second sentence is probably right, however what about the first one?

thank you

I think first is correct.Let know is not a phrasal verb,as far as I know.Let and know both are verbs and then where is the preposition to make it a phrasal verb?? It should be 'I will let the nurse know....'Two verbs together????I haven't come across such usage.

the first one is correct because
we always say I wil let you know , and not I wil let know you

but you can avoid a doubtful composition by an other one sure and easy by using an other verb.

good luck

Th first is correct.

You can avoid the problem by saying "I will inform the nurse..." OR "I will tell the nurse..."
