Can we substitute 'although or even though' with 'while' in these kinds of sentences?

Although Jane was the most deserving candidate, she didn’t get the job.

Although she is rich and famous, she is not happy.

The soldiers fought bravely, and although they were badly wounded, they refused to surrender.

The soldiers went on fighting even though they were badly injured.

I wouldn't do it in the last- that would, for me, be likely to have the idea of the length of time they were injured.
