Hello,

Would you please tell me if the sentence "I was thinking, why do I have to be a tinker?" is correct? And how would we say the sentence "Who's to say it wasn't a mistake?" in other way but with the same meaning?

"Well," Tink said, "I was thinking, why do I have to be a tinker? Just because some silly hammer glowed? Who's to say it wasn't a mistake?
Maybe I can just switch my talent.

Many thanks for your help.
