Can you work out what word should appear between "why" and "are"?
Replace "let" with "allowed". Then, can you work out what word should appear between "allowed" and "enter"?

That's good, with Tdol's correction. The second bit would be shorter and more natural like this: ... why we can't come in?
I saved eight syllables, which you can donate to charity.
