WHY SOME PEOPLE USE THANK YOU MORE THAN OTHERS?????
This might sound stupid question, but in UK even children as young as 2 years old will say tah=thank you. I have notice that Thank You in England is most used in every day living. Please don't take me wrong I am sure people from other country's also use thank you but for what I have notice they use for more significant reasons.
In England Thank You for being my friend, thank you for calling, thank you for passing me a butter...... I love that! I don't think it is any thing to do with what level of intelligence we have. Another popular word is sorry almost for everything, sorry for being late, sorry if I misunderstood, sorry for for what happen......
Also How Are You? this one is vital in England
