But it's still a surprise that you haven't heard this proverb before, hmm.....anyway, do you often cite some famous sayings in your article to show some arguments or topic? Do you think it's pursuasive by doing this to proof some points in essays?

I hadn't heard that saying either. Does it have to do with getting a running start?

Try: "prove some points...."

So happy to get your reply again! :)
Ok, so how do you think I should avoid "burnout" in my studying and adjust to the best attitude properly and quickly to retrieve its initial situation for English studying crazily but not with "burnout"?

Lucy in China :)

You can simplify that sentence by making it: "Ok, so how do you think I should avoid "burnout" in my studying?" altho I do rather fancy English studying crazily .

I do hope you don't go crazy studying English.

I recommend that you pace yourself. Don't study to the point of exhaustion. Take a pizza break every once in a while.

Ok, so how long is a pizza break to take , Ron? ;)
I'm afraid I usually take relative longer time in eating than others , hehe

OK, now I prefer to say that the proverb I cited last time is more inclined to be a Chinese colloquialim which is easily acceptable by Asian culture but not westers, anyway, I'd like to take this chance to share it's special meaning with all the friends here :)
" One must draw back in order to leap better" can be explained like this:
If you wanna make something or reach its final goal, you 'd better go back a little bit or even take a rest for a while to get back more engergy to reach it, just like a kind of martial arts, I'll take it for example, if you want to extend your arm to beat someone, you 'd better draw back your arm first then to fight back your opponent powerfully, the same thing in kicking somebody by your leg; also like in the sports game of distance jumping, you canot make good achivement to jump the most far distance just by starting with jumping on the beginning line, but get back of the line to run a bit, then speed up, finally you get the best motive to jump then win, so that's why it's said: one must draw back in order to leap better".
Hope I make myself understand :p hehe

BTW, Ron, I'll take your idea not to be a crazy English studier, ;)

Lucy as a lazy beaver ;)

Well, I guess you'll just have to take longer breaks then.

BTW, you can simplify that sentence thusly: "I'm afraid I usually take longer to eat than others."

Thanks Ron for the/your correction!
What about this time! :)

Either is fine ("the" or "your"). (I prefer "your" there, but that's not a comment on the grammar--just a personal preference.)
