[Grammar] Why using GET ?

- What is the diffrence between :

I want to deliver that ....
I want to get that delivered ....

or

I installed that ...
I got it installed ....

"I want to deliver that"
"I installed it"
Both of these statements imply that you yourself accomplished the task.

"I want to get that delivered"
"I got it installed"
These statements imply that someone else might or has already done the task for you.

For example, if your boss says to you at 4:55PM "I want to get that package delivered to Chicago first thing tomorrow morning," you know in your heart that he's not going to fight rush hour traffic to take the package to the FedEx office. He's indirectly telling you that he wants you to do it. ;-)
