Thanks for editing it. It is a very poor question. An argument could be made for all four choices! Where did you find the question?

Our teacher gave us examples of questions that can be in a test.

Well, I sincerely hope that question doesn't appear in any test you take. If I had to answer it in a test, I'd choose (C) but I would have no idea which answer the test-maker was looking for.
