What's the meaning of the expression "win its way"?

The complete sentence is "He uses persuasion to win its way"

Could it be 'to win his way' (get what he wants)?

Sorry, the real sentence is "The team uses influence and persuasion to win its way"

the meaning could be similar to "achieve its goals"?

Indeed.

The team is being identified as an entity, so "its way" is fine.
