Are both sentences correct? Is there any difference in their meaning?
a. Having said that he soon regreted his statement.
b. After having said that he soon regreted his statement.

Are both sentences correct? Is there any difference in their meaning?
a. Having said that, he soon regretted his statement.
b. After having said that, he soon regretted his statement.

Now they are both correct. They both have the same meaning.
