Are both of my sentences correct?
The possibility to get in touch with native speakers is a nice thing.
Having the possibility to get in touch with native speakers is a nice thing.
Could I also say this?
Getting the opportunity to get in touch with native speakers is a nice thing.

If I understand you rightly "possibility" is just the wrong word here, isn't it?

So let me repeat my question. If I change "possibility" to "opportunity" in the given sentences above, are they then correct?

If possible, avoid using the rather generic "thing" and even "nice", especially in formal/semi-formal writing. Try to come up with more descriptive words.
