[Grammar] with estimates forecasting

I'd like to know if the following sentence is grammatical? I think it's not. It should've been written "Which estimates are forecasting ....... "

Poland is experiencing a baby boom, with estimates forecasting that up to 400,000 children will be born by the end of 2017, the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily has reported.

But google "with estimates forecasting" and you'll find no result. It seems nobody has ever used this structure before. If they had used it would be at least a result at Google now. :-?

I get 587 hits including this thread. A minor typo shouldn't change those results much if at all, as Google looks for near matches. The string does not look grammatically odd to me, but I would guess it's not very common.

Don't worry too much about Google results.

The sentence is grammatical, and it is pretty obvious what is meant, but it doesn't make good sense to say that it is the estimates that are forecasting. The subject should instead be some people or experts or analysts or something similar. Surely, the estimate is the predicted figure, ie., 400,000.

They don't contain the phrase because, as I've said, it doesn't actually make sense with estimates as the subject of the verb forecasting. Try googling it the other way round: "with forecasts estimating..."
