Hello,
I'm not fully sure if this sentence is (grammatically:)) correct:
Women are my weakpoint.
Let's write it this way:
What is my weakpoint? -> Women.
So I'm not sure if I should write:
Women is my weakpoint.

Also, there are fixed and idiomatic and currently used sayings, written by people who hadn't learnt the (rules ;-)):

'The wages of sin is death' - it would pusillanimous (and, indeed, risible) to 'correct' that old quote.
