I would like to know if the phrase my teacher used is natural.
Women have priority.
The context was about men and women and who should enter a room first. According to rules of etiquette women goes first. (Yes I know it's only under some circumstances)
If a woman goes first i.e. a man lets her go first, can we say she has priority?
If we can't, is there a different expression natives usually use?
Thank you
