1. Everything was such fun and so wonderfully tedious(--> exciting)
Replacing tedious with exciting makes perfect sense and is correct.
2. After the judges wer finished tallying (--> Counting??) the scores, then the judges started to count the scores.
Tallying and counting mean much the same; tallying is an older way relating to markets, farming and where there was a lack of schooling (it invariably involved cutting notches in wood and other mediums). So your sentence 'the judges were finished tallying...' might mean making separate notches, lists or whatever and continue ' they then started to count (up all) the scores' resulting in a number.
3. DUe to the breaches(--> agreement) of protocol, the ambassador was delighted to attend the ceremony.
The sense here would be to replace 'breaches' with 'agreement'.
4. as usual, computer hackers(--> technicians) worked hard to discover a way to fix their computer virus so that it would not harm any computers.
Here it would be very, very unusual to see the sentence with 'computer hackers' although the meaning would be correct. Otherwise it would be " Technicians worked hard to discover a way to fix the computer virus so that it would not harm any computers".
