I have tried to use "incandescent" in my sentence. Would you please correct my mistakes?

After having a heart attack, Bill was incandescent with himself for ignoring his doctor's advice that he should stop smoking and drinking.

The standard term is "incandescent with rage". We don't usually mention who it's aimed at because context normally makes that clear.

After his heart attack, Bill was incandescent with rage for ignoring his doctor's advice to stop smoking and drinking.

It's not advisable to become incandescent with rage after a heart attack. I'd say Bill needs to keep calm.

I can't say that that is common American usage.

We'd say "incandescent" to describe a glowing beauty, perhaps.

Betty, you look radiant! Simply incandescent! Pregnancy agrees with you!

I would only use it to describe a light bulb. It seems odd to hear it in other contexts.
