Hey everybody,

I wonder if I can write something like this:

"I'm sorry if my words feel aggressive to you...."

I'm talking about the "words feel" part. Do you think it has a valid meaning?

"I'm sorry if my words sound patronizing to you...."

"I'm sorry if you feel that my words are patronizing...."

I couldn't think of any sense in which I would use 'words feel'. I looked it up on Google to see if that prompted my memory, and apart from such phrases as 'hear the words, feel the music', YOUR POST with this website was the only instance I could find.
