Hi,

Could anyone please help me figure out the meaning of the underlined part?

When you are truly obsessed with things that are good and you constantly feed them, all those things yanking at you—self- esteem issues, introversion, disability, fear of success, fear of failure, or any form of neurosis—fall away.

Thanks in advance

All those things making you have less self-esteem, like introversion, etc. To yank is to pull.

Does "all those things" refer to "the things you are truly obsessed with"?

What about "fall away"?

I got really confused :(

If you become obsessed with the good things, the bad things cease to exert a pull on you, which they exert on many, falling into insignificance. You are no longer subject to the negative things that affect many.
