Yet for night owls, this may be the perfect position. Because prisons never close, correctional officers are needed to work eight hours a day, five days a week, on rotating shifts.

Do you think that it's better to put a comma after "Yet"?

I wouldn't. I can only say why using a tecnique that might, or might not, be helpful to you. I was always taught that if you remove the part in parenthesis, the sentence should still make sense. 'Yet this may be the perfect position.' doesn't make complete sense as we don't know for whom this is a perfect position.
