[Grammar] deem / think

Is the following sentence acceptable?

Most students deem that it is convenient for them to use the Internet to get the latest news instantly and establish contact with friends promptly with Internet communication.

'...deem it convenient...' would be more idiomatic.

Why not just 'find it convenient..'.
I think the last three words could be omitted.

You don't need "for them". The more of your posts that I read on this topic, the more I am keen to suggest that you stop capitalising the word "internet". In the UK, it is very rarely capitalised these days.

The word 'deem' is rarely used today; it's used mainly in flamboyant hyperbole and flattery, such as 'I would deem it an honour if you would grace our little gathering with your presence - be it only for a few minutes.' I bet you Uriah Heap (a Dickens character) used it.
