What's wrong with "I love you forever"

Chuck, an American professor who once worked in China said: It is wrong to say "I will remember you forever." Because no one could live forever.
So, is this sentence also wrong?——I love you forever.
But I see this sentence a lot.
 
I would use I will always love you. To be honest, I can't see much wrong with using forever, though.

I'd prefer "I will love you forever." to the original. We don't normally use the present tense with "forever".
You can safely ignore Chuck's advice. "Forever" is often used this way.

Not a teacher.
I believe "I will remember you forever." is right. Because I see it is pretty similar with "I will remember you as long as I live."
 
Many people believe life is eternal, in some form, so there love could also be eternal.
