Dear teachers and friends

How do we call someone who sleeps with other's wives? and how do we call someone who cheats on their husbands/wives etc?

Are there more popular words for those?

Thanks

a dead man. :2gunfire:

Don't cheater and two-timer fit the bill?

An adulterer.

And what's the big moustache got to do with anything?

Nothing really... it is just that where I grew up, the person, let's say the husband whose wife is an adulterer/ess, usually is associted to a figure of a man who 'wears' a moustache! I believe it's not as funny there as it is here. The bigger the moustache is, the more active is his wife. :-D
It's funny til it happens to ourselves!

Anyway, I remember that the words I'm looking for end in 'ee' and 'er/ess' for the one who is cheated on and the one who cheats, respectively.

A man whose wife is unfaithful is a cuckold. This word is also a verb. John cuckolds Paul when he has sex with Paul's wife. If you were in a particularly creative mood, you could think up words like "cuckolder" and "cuckoldee", but they aren't real words.
