***NOT A TEACHER***I think that I can give you an example of a so-called dangling modifier: Driving down the street, my car hit a bus. Of course, we all understand the sentence. But the sentence -- grammatically speakling -- says that the the car was driving. Of course, only people can drive. So it would make things clearer if I said something like: Driving down the street, I lost control of my car and hit a bus. Thank you.
