I don't know the reasons why certain threads are closed. Would any of the teachers or whover it may concern clarify this to me, please? I'am really surprised at it.

The admins and moderators of these forums are very tolerated!
(I know this because I'm active in at least 10 other forums.)
If they close a thread, there must be a good reason.
And yes, there is a good reason.

I bet you refer to Esuru's thread called "adverb".
Just click on his username and check the threads he has created so far.
And what do we see?
Double threads.

There is no reason to create the exact same thread several times.
