Hi All,

I've been helping an Indian student with his English grammar and need to correct his written work. However, its been so long I've forgotten how to do it!

The student was told to write a small paragraph about his past:
I raed a baedikal in India
I want to Jamnagr. This is big city of Gujrat.
I ridin books in Hadiyana.
I want to sieset with my wife.

This translates to:
I ride a bicycle in India
I went to Jamnagr. This is a big city in Gujrat.
I reading books in Hadiyana.
I went to sieset with my wife.

How do i correct this (e.g. cross out his errors? insert words, put a line through incorrect spelling)?

If anyone can recommend a book or website link or tutorial (e.g. you tube) that tackles this problem please let me know.

Rewrite the sentences using the correct spelling and grammar, and then explain the grammar points; e.g., "am reading", not "reading"; "in" for "inside, not "of" for belonging to.

Thanks for that...

Anybody recommend any books/sites/videos/tutorials on error correction (written work)?
