Hi! Teachers.

I'm looking for the usage of adjective "down". I looked it up in the dictionary. What I found was "a down train"

I'd like to make a sentence with the phrase above. Is it O.K if I write "Which one is a down train?"? or "The down train will depart any minute"?

If I'm wrong, please correct them. or If you come up with other frequently used examples, please let me know

Thank you very much in advance.:)

"The down train will depart any minute"
That is possible, though uncommon, in my opinion. In my youth the eexpressions 'up' and 'down' trains were comon for trains going to and from a city, especially London, but I don't think they are use much today.
