Hi there,
What's the meaning of "wind up" in the following sentence.
"It's a particularly fine way to have an unusual Manhattan experience on a cold, rainy day and wind up a special souvenir of your visit."
Thanks

It's very odd. One of the meanings of the verb "wind up" is finish something/bring something to an end, but that doesn't fit with "...a special souvenir of your visit". Where did you find it?

I'm guessing there's been a typo in the original article, as "wind[ing] up with a special souvenir" makes sense.

Maybe they're talking about getting a tattoo? That way you end up being a souvenir of your visit. ;-)
