Hi Rip,Hi James, please, don't say respectufully yours: It makes me feel like I'm 100 years old..(hi hi); Why do you say you're 99% sure... aren't you a native speaker?

...or, if you have a long white beard, wear a silly red costume and ride around on a sleigh, "Ho ho ho".Hi Rip,
We don't laugh "hi hi" in English. It has to be "he he", or "hee hee" or "ha ha" or ....
Or if you are the Jolly Green Giant....or, if you have a long white beard, wear a silly red costume and ride around on a sleigh, "Ho ho ho".

Technically, I guess, if you ate a type of "cereal" for breakfast that had more than one type of grain you could say that you ate cereals for breakfast.
But I don't think most natives would.
It may be an age thing. I am a BrE speaker (65), and would say a bowl of cereal, whether it was just corn flakes or a mix of sugar pops and bran flakes. Not that I'd eat one! This might be a BrE thing, but I would say a bowl of cereals, even for single cereal ones like cornflakes.

Aren't those little cinnamon things absolutely lovely? It's really unfair that a person of my age, brought up in a traditional Polish family, should find a disgusting commercial product so irresistible.I know a 34-year-old who'd steal a bowl of cinnamon cereal from a 2-year-old.
