I'm wondering about the word order in embedded questions. In the following examples we follow a regular sentence order:
a) I wonder what he likes.
b) I'd like to know where the pharmacy is.
c) I don't know what colour her hair is.
Here, however, we stick to the question word order:
d) I don't know what's wrong.
How so? How would you explain this?
