what "put under hour" mean?

i think it means something, like "that guy was put under 72 hours in observation care"
but i can't understand what "What should i put under hours to work for pizza nut" mean.

Provide more context. Your sentence doesn't make any sense by itself.

what should i put under hours to work for pizza hut?
this is my first time ever to work outside my family business and we sell beauty and hair supply and clothing and now i want to work for pizza hut?
i want to work after i finished my college classes and i do not have any classes on t-thr-fr but i do have a job with my family. i want to apply for part-time job. (f.y.i. my parents need me more on fridays) should i work for 2-3 hrs or about 8hrs a day.

In view of what you go on to say in post #5, what is the point of that rubbish?

that was the context i was providing for you guys to help me figure the question( What should i put under hours to work for pizza hut?) out

On job applications for restaurants and fast-food establishments, it usually asks you what hours you are available for work. This is so that, for example, university students can state that they are able to work weeknights from 5:00PM until closing (because they have classes during the day) and all day on weekends. If you have to work for your family's business on certain days, all you need to do on the application is detail the days and hours that you are available to work at Pizza Hut. In your case, simply list the hours that you have free to work. In your case, it sounds like between classes and working for your family's business, you'd only be available in the late afternoon or evening hours. So you might just state something like "available every day after 6:00PM (1800 hrs)". Restaurants need more staff in the late evening hours, so you should have an advantage if you're available at that time.

so "put under hours" it is choose a time period?

so "put under hours" it is choose a time period?
No it doesn't, as I said before, the phrase "put under hours" doesn't mean anything.

so "put under hours" it is choose a time period?

No. "What should I put" is one thought. "Under hours to work" is another thought. I assume "hours to work" is a heading or any area to fill in on an application to work.

I got it now, on a job application you have to fill in some informations
like "under hours to work -12pm to 6 " "under reason for leaving current/previous position-i was fired , my grandma died"

thanks shoothingdave!!
