    Default muhjah

what does "muhjah" mean? an example: "muhjah to the queen", what does "muhjah to someone" mean

    Here's the sentence:

"Alexia Maccon, Lady Woolsey, muhjah to the queen, Britain’s secret preternatural weapon extraordinaire, blinked awake from a deep and delicious sleep."

what does mean the word "muhjah"? Does anybody know this word? I couldn't find it anywhere.

This is from a novel set in another world. Some of the words in the novel have been invented by the writer. You'll have to read the whole thing to see if you can find out what it means.

One review defines it as a special emissary-type role for a soulless/preternatural person: ALL ABOUT ROMANCE (novels) reviews Changeless by Gail Carriger

Sounds to me like a pretty risky coining - a bit too close for comfort to Mujahideen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia .

The word Muhjah is ironic. It is the position for the Soul Less person on Queen Victoria's council of supernatural beings in Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate series. However, according to a Google Search I have made, it means Soul or Heart's Blood in Arabic. It is a name for a woman in Arab speaking lands. Yours, Rich Dengrove
