Which of the two choices do you think is correct?
Well, we do use gerund after from, so it sounds correct.However, because it's a negative sentence I think that but is also correct since it shows contradiction. I 'm confused...
If you omit the word "from" either is okay.
"I can't help from..." is not a standard construction in my dialect of English.
