Its= it's = it is.
Thats=that's= that is
That's my oppinion:oops:
 
The correct answer is "it's." Every sentence needs a verb and here it is to be : "it is."

"Its" is a possessive adjective.
The dog is licking its paws.

I think, both "its" and "it's" are acceptable.
While "it's"is a short form of it is, its is a determiner.
