Hi,

Are these sentences natural to a native ear?

1. Does it ever happen with you that one part of your screen goes dark?

2. Does it ever happen with you that you get up from sleep and not able to walk?

3. I am not adding anything of my own; that is what the book says. ( I was trying to say that everything I said was from the book)

Thanks,
MG

They are OK now. I wouldn't say that 1 and 2 are very natural, though.

But they are natural with your suggestions, right?

Thanks.

They're OK but I would find them less contrived with "Do you ever find that a part of your screen goes dark?" or simply "Does a part of your screen ever go dark?"
