1: Don't close this browser window until the upload is complete. and

2: Don't close this browser window until the upload is completed.

They are both OK. I would prefer "has completed" in #2.

I would use #1, or "Don't close this browser window until the upload has finished".

Is it (Complete) adjective in the 1st sentence?
 
One more question - is [STRIKE]it[/STRIKE] [STRIKE](Complete)[/STRIKE] "complete" an adjective in the [STRIKE]1st[/STRIKE] first sentence?

Yes.
 
If it were verb then we would use past participle i.e. completed?
