Christmas will be on Sunday next year. VS. Christmas is on Sunday next year.

Which one is natural and is there a meaning difference between them? Thank you so much as always and have a good and safe day.

Both are fine. There is no difference in meaning.

...and I'd be more likely to say 'Christmas Day will be on Wednesday next year.'

An excellent demonstration of the difference between a sentence that is correct and a sentence that is true.
