In this month's Rehab Rounds column, Samatha Kommana and her colleagues conceptualize stigma from a social-psychological perspective and describe several methods for attacking stigma that are based on priciples of social psychology.

Almost :up: - they are methods that can be used to attack stigma. Saying 'methods for attacking stigma' suggests (to me... :-?) that the methods are in use.
